Zombie Nation visits House of Torment

Greetings ghouls - during the Valentine's Day weekend we were provided an opportunity to visit an awesome haunt, The House of Torment in Austin, Texas. Special thanks go out to Dan McCoullough and his team for their gracious hospitality and the lights on tour.

The group returned that evening for their Dark Stalkers lights out event. The group was taken aback by their terrific set designs, level of detail and special effects. If you ever have the opportunity to see this show live we HIGHLY recommend it.

Check out their website at http://thehouseoftorment.com.

I went to the House of Torment for the past few years and I've been extremely DISAPPOINTED. It is the exact same attraction. Nothings changed for years but the rising ticket prices.

The videos and pictures on their website do not represent whats inside at all.

The entire attraction is only 10 minutes long and not scary at all!
Monsters were trying to hit on me and say sexual things to me the whole time. I felt scammed and the location is so ghetto i wouldn't recommend bringing children or a date there.

The only thing redeeming were the sets and costumes but if your wanting to entertain instead of scare then you better be on par with Universal Studios or Disney and this is certainly not. I would save my money and go to a fall festival. The only thing scary here are the prices and sexually depraved monsters inside.
